ADOPT AN OLDER DOG

Adopt an older dog during the months of August and September and get a 25% discount on their adoption fee.

All Russell Rescue dogs are spayed or neutered and up to date on their shots.

JRT's can easily live into their upper teens and even well into their twenties if they are in good health and well maintained by their caregivers. They remain active their entire lives.

Dogs must be 5 years and older to be eligible for the discount.

I have two boys that I am curently keeping as foster children, Timmy and Bear.  I am being very selective as to where they go.  I have four Jacks of my own, and would love to find these two boys a home, but I am more then happy to keep them for the rest of their lives, if I do not find perfect homes.  I love them to bits, but also realize that with a total of six they would be better in a home that was all their own.  I would love them to go together, but would consider separating them.  I realize that generally two of the same sex are not a good idea, but these boys are always together, NEVER fight, and love to play with each other, sleep together, eat together ect.  One of them I have had since the end of July, the other I have had for two years.  Both are UTD on shots, neutered, and healthy.  They are both tan/white and have smooth coats.  They both MUST go to homes with a fenced in yard!!!!

Benji is the sweetest Jack Russell male dog I have met. He is about 2 yrs old. He has had it tough as he has been in a home with lots of little kids who often do not handle him gently. He spends alot of time under the bed in order to dodge them. Wouldn't you?

His family does not even have money to feed him and they are also moving to a rental which does not allow dogs.

Benji is good with other dogs and kids 8yrs and older. He needs a break from young kids who pull and tug him. He is a little fearful but some treats and love will teach him he can trust people.
