This is one cute boy! I love the one white ear. He does NOT look his age at all. Cooper is 6 years old, birthday 11/24. He is neutered and his vaccinations are up-to-date as of 11/2009-valid for one year. Cooper is not fond of other dogs, has lived with cats that were not declawed and loved to play with them. Dislikes small children (most Jack Russells do not like young children). He doesn't bite the children, but he is uneasy with them as he has not had much exposure to them. Cooper likes to play catch and run, dislikes fireworks and loud thunderstorms. Loves car rides and swimming. JACK RUSSELL.

Jack Russell was born June 13th, 2002. He weighs 20 to 22 lbs. Jack is neutered, micro-chipped and is up to date on his shots. He is very independent, sweet and loving. He is scared of thunder, fireworks and any loud pop that sounds like a gun. Jack loves people, children and playing with toys (tug a war is his favorite). He will greet you at the door every time. Jack does not like to be picked up. He needs a fenced yard to play in. He loves to ride in a car and gets along with other dogs. If you say the word nite-nite, he knows it is time to go to bed and he will run to the door to go out. If you say the word potty, to the door he goes. Jack is used to being with his “wife” Sadie Girl and I would love for them to be able to be re-homed together if possible. MAXWELL.

Details 

Maxwell will be 4 years old in October. He is neutered and his vaccinations are up-to-date as of 3/2010 - valid for one year. Maxwell does not get along with most dogs, and would not do well with cats or other small animals, as he would rather hunt the small animals. He tolerates small children, to a point, but would do best with older children that know how to treat a terrier. He is very affectionate with his people and loves to lay on the couch right next to you. Right now he lives with two boys under 3 years old and he will snap if provoked too much. Maxwell will walk on a lead and heel while wearing a Gentle Leader, but would much rather run while you rollerblade. He will also run next to you if he is wearing his Gentle Leader. He also loves to chew durable Nylabones, and tennis balls to pieces if no one will throw it for him. Maxwell does not like to be left alone in his cage, so he gets a food puzzle while in there. He must be in the cage though, because he is mischievous. Maxwell is very athletic, and can jump very high, so he needs a fenced in yard (5ft high). He would be good for someone wanting to do agility training, as he is eager to please when you have any food and will focus completely on you. It's easy to see where the "Tiny" in Tiny Molly's name comes from -- this girl is petite and sweet! This adorable little Jack Russell mix was found as a stray, but is in great shape. She's about 1-2 years old, and is a real "people person" -- she just can't wait to launch herself into your lap and cover you with kisses! Molly may be tiny, but she has energy to burn and a brain the size of a planet ... so if you're looking for an agility or flyball partner, Molly's your girl! In typical terrier fashion, she can be fussy about which dogs she chooses to be friends with, so she might be perfect for someone who's looking for a pampered-princess "only dog." PATCHES.

Patches is a sweet affectionate, full of energy male nutered Jack Russell and up to date on all his vaccines. He loves to cuddle and will be very loyal to his new owner. Patches needs to be walked several times a day as he perfers to do his duty on walks ,but he becomes dog aggressive when around alot of other dogs. His inside behavior is great and he does well around our small grandchild. Patches needs a new home because his current owner is not able to keep up with his energy and walks. Peanut is a super cute, spayed 5 yr old female rough coat Jack Russel. Poor Peanut was surrendered to the shelter because her family could no longer care for her and her sister (a large pointer mix). ROXY.

ROXY is available for adoption. ROXY is a youthful 5 year old female JRT, who was rescued from a woman in PA. She really needs a pet-free home where she can be the center of attention. ROXY is great with people, including strangers. She does have a bit of fear aggression with other dogs, but we have been working on that and it is much better. ROXY is a bit shy and needs to be coached to come when called. She is having some issues with relieving herself during the day when left alone and she tends to throw up when riding in the car. Want a sweet loving Jack Russell look no further …. Sadie Girl was born August 7th, 2004. She weighs 15 to 18 lbs. She is sprayed, micro-chipped and is up to date on her shots. She is very sweet and loving. She is a lap dog who loves people, children and other dogs but not other animals. Sadie loves to play with toys and taking rides in a car. She needs a fenced in yard to play in. Sadie may need a little extra guidance in the obedience department but she will listen. She needs someone who is willing to spend some time with her. Sadie has papers. They are from America's Pet Registry and she has a Certificate of Pedigree that shows 3 generations. Once she is re-homed, it will be her 4th home. Her first two families never took the time to appreciate her and she was abused. Sadie is used to being with her “husband” Jack and I would love for them to be able to be re-homed together if possible. She will make a great addition to any family! TRINKET.

Trinket is a 3 year old spayed female jack who is fun loving and affectionate. She has more energy and "zest for life" than her foster family has ever seen and they have seen lots of Jacks! Trinket was found as a stray in Maryland and was brought into a shelter. She came to rescue because she was a little food aggressive(most terriers do NOT like to share). Her foster family just feeds her in her crate and there are no problems at all. She is housebroken and never soils her crate. Trinket has tested positive for heart worm. She has begun treatments and should come out just fine-especially when she finds her forever home. Russell Rescue, Inc will continue to pay for her treatments after she is adopted.
