Posted 8/28/2010 Hi I am Cairo a just about 1 year old male JRT that has a broken coat ,colored white and tan, with really long legs and a tail, I am about 20 lbs. I was rescued from animal control in SC where I was brought in as a stray and since have traveled all over! Someone has worked with me because I am very sweet, obedient and already know how to sit on command! I really like other dogs esp the gals! Miracle is exactly what her name stands for...this little girl is a DEAF JRT that is about 8mo-1year old, 12 lbs. Working together we transported her on multiple trips, state to state to get her to a foster home keeping Miracle. Miracle is friendly and energetic, she likes to be with humans, we would suggest no little children just due to her being deaf (those open doors with kids are escape routes for JRTs), she appears housebroken and gets along with other dogs.

Updated 7/6/2010 My name is Toby, probably a Terrier/Corgi mix. about 25-30 lbs and 1.5 years old. I came from a shelter as a stray and have been in a new foster home. It takes me just a few days to get adjusted to a new situation, during that time I like to right by your side. I have one blue eye and a long tail that wags a lot, I am about the size of Corgi with longer legs and slimmer in the middle. I tend to want to be in charge of the dog pack, but if you dont mind being happy go lucky and play all the time, you will be my best friend. Traveler.

Hi my name is Traveler. I am about 10 months old and a JRT mix. I am tiny and am only 12lbs, so maybe something else tiny and cute is in my blood! I got that name because I was picked up at a rest stop by some nice people. I had been out on my own for I do not know how long, but I was sick and hungry. I was brought to a vet clinic where they feed me great food to fatten me up, and put me on antibiotics for my chest cold. I just love anyone who will pay attention to me. I have not been scared, I went to a foster home with big dogs but I just walked right up to them and now we play together, I also have learned to use the doggy door. I really like to jump, play, and lick faces, when I get that energy out I actually have been taught a few commands such a sit. I would do well with any family that wants to love me with kids or dogs, At night I want to be right by a human in bed and I am a good sleeper and snuggler.
